Hat Creek Hereford Ranch and RV Park is located in the
northeastern corner of California in Eastern Shasta
County and , between
3,000 and 4,000 ft.
elevation with lots of
sunshine, bright blue
skies, and clean air.
The southern tip of the
Cascade Mountains
provide beautiful
scenery in any direction from
our park which is located between Mt. Shasta and
Mt. Lassen..
Many unfound wonders are nestled in the region and are
increasingly becoming more
popular. The fly fishing on the Hat Creek, Fall River, Pit
River, and McCloud River is world renown.. Water
skiing and sailing on near by Lake Britton is only
minutes away. The Fall River Valley Golf Course with
it’s 4 ½ star rating continues to have great success and
has become one of the
most popular courses
in Northern
California. The
Mount Shasta
Board and Ski
Park, which is
within an hours
drive, has increased
the chair lifts and skiing area to
accommodate all levels of skiers. It is a great family
ski resort without the crowds and traffic. The
grandeur of Burney Falls and adjacent creeks in the
area make for great picture taking and bird watching.
The Bald Eagles abound in and around our Valleys as do many
other species of birds and animals.
The Pacific Crest Trail traverses through the area and provides for great hiking and
horseback riding. The Waterfowl flock to the intermountain area each winter and the
hunting and bird watching is second to none. Deer and Antelope also are abundant in the
Valleys and are some of the most desirable hunting areas in California.
